AECOM Study Lead (Industrial Decarbonisation) in Perth, Australia

Company Description

Work with us. Deliver a better the World.

Delivering a better world is our foundational purpose and it is the driver behind Sustainable Legacies, our strategy for reaching bold environmental, social, and governance (ESG) objectives that make a positive impact on our company, our communities and our planet.

As the world decarbonises towards net-zero, the resources sector and heavy industry are faced with an immense challenge to play their role not only in terms of asset decarbonisation but more broadly in supplying the critical minerals, energy and industrial output forecast to grow significantly to meet the needs of the energy transition.

In this role you’ll be working with a truly global organisation, with a mindset of thinking and acting globally to truly deliver a better world. This will entail delivering some of the most exciting decarbonisation projects across mining and heavy industry from hybrid renewable power systems on mine sites, to electrification of diesel fleet, front end advisory for net-zero roadmaps and everything in between.

Here, you will have freedom to grow in a world of opportunity.

In Resources & Industry (R+I) we offer services that span the entire project life cycle. From concept to detailed design, engineering and project management for execution and commissioning phases, as well as decommissioning and closure of existing operations.

Our broad global and collaborative approach assists the industry as it faces new challenges in greenfield and brownfield mining and minerals processing, and we are supporting our clients on their journey to achieving net zero emissions.

We’re one global team – 47,000 strong – driven by a common purpose to deliver a better world.
