As a result of a significant project pipeline, we have an opportunity for a Principal Bridge Engineer with demonstrated experience delivering bridge and civil infrastructure projects to join our Civil Structures team in Perth.

Job Description

What will a day in this role look like:

  • As part of this role, you will be given the opportunity to lead and deliver a variety of interesting projects, offering you the chance to combine your technical skills and client relationship management experience with a project delivery focus.

  • Working with a broad range of clients, you will be involved in key stakeholder engagement processes, contributing to the growth of our business.

  • As an experienced practitioner with significant experience working in an engineering design consultancy, you will be a passionate mentor and leader on multi-disciplinary projects, supporting the development of our more junior team members.

Qualifications

What are we looking for from you?

  • 15+ years’ structural engineering design experience working on bridge and infrastructure projects - essential;

  • Experience working for an engineering design consultancy;

  • Design experience is essential, asset management experience is highly regarded

  • Demonstrated understanding of West Australian Transport and Main Roads design processes, procedures, and requirements.

  • Passion for innovation and client service through timely, quality delivery

  • Bachelor of Engineering (Civil) – essential;

  • CPEng accreditation or eligible to apply for immediately – essential.
