We are seeking a professional civil engineer with industry experience to join our Civil and Water Infrastructure team in Hamilton, New Zealand. In this role you will focus your time supporting an existing workload of local water, wastewater and storm water infrastructure strategic planning and design, state highway roading storm water projects (NZTA), regional land drainage projects involving pump stations and stopbanks (Waikato Regional Council and Bay of Plenty Regional Council). Work includes multi-disciplinary projects in land development, urban three waters infrastructure, roading and rural drainage.

Preparation and presentation of proposals to clients
Contribute to winning, manage, design and delivery of small to large-scale projects
Management of resources, budgets and timelines
Ensures integrated design through effective communication and co-ordination with other disciplines
Meeting delivery requirements from feasibility through to detailed design and construction
Assist in determining clients' needs and expectations in proposals and project plans
Contribute to the complete and integrated set of project documents by working co-operatively with team members
Develop and champion client relationships through excellent project work delivery and contribute to repeat business by representing the company in a professional manner when dealing with clients, contractors and others
Minimum of 4 years post-graduate experience in civil design and construction.
Experience in civil design, stormwater, water and wastewater infrastructure planning and/or design is necessary.
Experience in water resources and environmental engineering is desirable.
Track record of obtaining approvals with utility providers, including working knowledge of local and national three waters infrastructure design standards and requirements.
Experience in consulting engineering or similar local or regional council role.
