Job Summary

The Opportunity

Located in our modern offices near Britomart, we have a rare opportunity for a Team Leader to join our Mechanical Services team.

As a Team Leader, you will provide leadership to our mechanical engineering and design professionals on complex building services projects that deliver high standard outcomes for AECOM. You will play a key role in developing and supporting our enthusiastic and motivated team members to reach their goals and advance their careers.

Naturally, you will be responsible for managing the delivery of projects and ensuring our clients are kept up-to-date on progress.

Day to day responsibilities will include:

  • Design, project management and cost management in mechanical services

  • Developing strong client relationships and maintaining connections with existing clients

  • Ensuring projects are adequately resourced and delivered on time and within budget

Minimum Requirements

About You

  • Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering or equivalent

  • 10+ years’ experience in Mechanical (Building Services), ideally in a consulting environment

  • Demonstrated experience in managing multi-disciplinary project teams

  • Ability to deliver excellent service to the client in all aspects of a project life cycle

Preferred Qualifications

  • CPEng status will be a distinct advantage
