What will a day in this role look like?
Delivering technical support on secondary systems including the preparation of technical and design reports
Providing engineering design expert advice from concept through to detail design
Contributing to bids and proposals including cost estimates and supporting materials
Ensuring all design work is completed in accordance with NZ standards and sound engineering principles
Working closely with project teams to ensure timely provision of coordinated and quality engineering deliverables
Contributing to the development of client relationships including identification of opportunities
Qualifications
What are we looking for from you?
The following qualifications and experience are highly desired, but if you don’t tick all the boxes you could still be a perfect fit for this role. Please apply, all applications will be considered.
Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems or equivalent
Minimum of 7 years experience in the area of high voltage electrical design
Demonstrated understanding of high voltage substation equipment, transmission lines, generators, transformers, reactive equipment, etc
Experience in project management of small to medium size secondary systems projects
