Job Summary

AECOM has a great opportunity for a

Finance Manager in Australia on our Oasis program. The selected candidate will oversee the Program Finance Function including project accounting and pricing; responsible for Program Revenue Recognition and Project Estimates at Completion in accordance with policy and GAAP; manage the Programs indirect budgets; assist Program Manager (PM) in developing Long Range Plan/Budget; owns monthly reporting CDRLs to the customer; supports the Program Pricing Strategy; implements/leverages approved tools and systems that provide critical financial and operational information to the PM and client; responsible for cash flow forecast; mentors and develops the finance team, manage work allocation, identifies training/development opportunities, aid personnel with problem resolution, establish performance metrics that align with organizational goals, conduct performance evaluation of personnel, and build an effective team.

This is a projected hire for placement in Australia in 2019

Minimum Requirements

  • Must be a US Citizen.

  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret security clearance.

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance / Accounting / or related field.

  • 10+ years’ experience in progressively responsible financial and accounting positions within the Government Services or related industries. Solid understanding of Federal Acquisition Regulation and Cost Accounting Standards.

  • Able to operate independently and effectively prioritize deliverables.

  • Must be comfortable working in a matrix environment and interfacing directly with the end customer.

  • Solid skills in Financial Planning and Analysis, both management and preparation of Project Estimates at Completion and Revenue Recognition Principles. Experience in developing the business’s short term and long range strategic plans.

  • Identifying internal control gaps and implementing a control environment that mitigates the risk or fraud, waste and abuse.

  • Development of working relationships at all levels of the business and ability to motivate others.

  • Experience with computing systems and related reporting applications (i.e. SAP, Costpoint, Cognos)

  • Experience in the development of FAR and solicitation compliant pricing proposals.

  • Experience in guiding the strategy of the business unit and related strategy in the pricing of new work.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Active, fully adjudicated TS/SCI w/poly is preferred.

  • Costpoint and SAP knowledge is a plus.

  • Experience or Familiarity with Earned Value principles is preferred.
